Encouraging Women to Live More Intentional Lives - Body, Soul & Spirit
Like all women - I am a work in progress! I love teaching God's word and sharing how His truth and grace have transformed my life. He alone has all the answers we need to live victoriously. God has given me the courage and strength to thrive despite many personal challenges to include marital infidelity, rebellious children, a breast cancer "trifecta" (my mom, my daughter, and myself) as well as an eating disorder and five years of unrelenting panic attacks when I was in my teens and twenties.
God’s Word is truly “living and active and sharper than a two-edged sword.” In fact, that “sword” is much like a precision surgical knife that when turned on ourselves cuts out the lies we believe and replaces them with truth. I take my calling to encourage and teach women very seriously: Humor, personal transparency and biblical teaching are always included in my presentations.
I would consider it a privilege to share God's truth and my heart with your women. Today's busy woman wants and needs answers for leading a more balanced and godly life. I consider the ideal speaking engagement any one where women gather expectantly to learn truth from God's word.

Dana is a passionate speaker - a real pro. You'll find her story of how her life was a mess but how God takes our messes and transforms them into beauty and peace truly engaging. She provides great materials and take aways for attendees and they leave her events changed and inspired.

Whether Danna is speaking before an audience of thousands or just an audience of one, she presents her listeners with compelling reasons to focus their attention on being the best they can be; not just physically but spiritually. Her messages are entertaining but mostly enlightening and encouraging. Her words are seasoned with experience and softly delivered with grace. But by far the most poignant mark of her delivery is her consistent ability to lead her listeners to Jesus Christ. One sentence after another is a finger pointing to Him. In this world, it's refreshing to find a beautiful and intelligent woman who is authentically sold out for Christ and grounded in His Word. Her history proves her reliable and her experience proves her worthy. I'm happy to call her my friend but blessed to call her my sister in Christ.

It is my pleasure to recommend Danna Demetre as a quality presenter and teacher to Christian audiences. I have known Danna both as a friend, congregation member and co-host of a radio show (Dr. Scott Live!) that we did together for many years in San Diego. Danna has completed a two year Biblical course that I teach to leaders at our church and has demonstrated a very keen understanding and application of Biblical truth. Her transparency, sense of humor and passion for truth is evident when she speaks. Danna also has a great heart for evangelism and presents the gospel with depth and clarity. Her heart for the lost is also evidenced in the fact that she founded an outreach ministry, Women of Purpose, in 1997 in order to reach the un-churched women of San Diego with the hope of the gospel. She has produced over 75 outreach events to date and reached thousands of women with life-changing truth.

I’ve worked with some of the best there is and there is no one I would rather partner with than Danna Demetre. Her commitment to holding real life issues up to the light of God’s Word and her careful attention to depositing practical truths on every subject she addresses is inspiraitonal. She is beautiful on the outside; but wait until you get a glimpse of the gorgeous inside of this authentic, accessible, and grounded purveyor of life-changing truths. I’ve looked, but can’t find a personal agenda anywhere in Danna. In fact, she consistently demonstrates a selfless desire to reflect Christ in all she does. I am proud to work with her and call her ‘friend’.

Please allow me a moment of your time to introduce a friend of mine, Danna Demetre. Danna is a speaker, author and radio personality. I met her years ago when she had a dream on her heart to reach women through using relevant life topics (weight, health, finding your purpose, etc.) to meet them at their “felt needs”. She founded Women of Purpose in 1997, a California nonprofit, and has reached thousands of women with the gospel of Jesus Christ through the ministry’s quarterly mini-magazine and outreach events held at a hotel/conference center in San Diego. I have enthusiastically encouraged her dream of writing and speaking because I saw first hand how effective Danna is at reaching pre-believers for Christ as well as sharpening women in their faith.
