More About Kelly Stigliano

Kelly J. Stigliano and her husband, Jerry enjoy life in Northeast, FL. A blended family, they have five grown children, a son-in-law, and two granddaughters.

She grew up in a small northeastern Ohio town. The realization that she was Yankee (non-Amish) came when she was eight years old. Her high school graduating class of 93 students was the largest up to that time. Being a bored-with-life teenager, she got into plenty of trouble. Within a five-year period, she moved through the statistics of being a pregnant teenager, teen bride, abused spouse, and single parent.

Kelly learned about Jesus as a child in Sunday school, but met Him personally as a broke and broken single mother of two rambunctious preschoolers. As she learned more about Christ and His love, her compassion grew like the Grinch’s heart – bigger and bigger and bigger!

Growing in a new relationship with Jesus Christ, she had enough faith to enroll her daughter in Christian school. She wasn’t sure how she’d pay the tuition, but knew that’s what the Lord wanted her to do, so she obeyed. That’s where she met Jerry, the handsome, single principal. Within two months, God moved on someone’s heart to give Kelly's daughter a scholarship. The little family was learning about God’s miraculous provision.

Jerry asked her out in November and they were married the following November. They had each been divorced, so getting married was another step of faith. All statistics say a second marriage like theirs shouldn’t work, but she's happy to report that they have celebrated over 30 wedding anniversaries!

Together, Kelly and Jerry have worked in various ministries at church, including a single parent ministry.

As God teaches her lessons, she writes about them so, hopefully, we can all learn together. No one benefits when we wear masks, so she tries to keep it real. Kelly likes to say that everyone has skeletons in their closets, but her closets don't have doors on them!

To read some articles she's had published, explore the books she's contributed to, hear a dramatization of God’s story in her life from the “UNSHACKLED!” radio program, hear a radio interview, read about the topics she speaks on most often, or see photos of her beautiful family, please visit her website, www.kellystigliano.com.

Kelly says, "Life is like a whitewater rafting ride. You never know what’s up ahead, but you know you’re not alone. So just hang on tight, let the spray of God’s goodness wash over you, and enjoy the ride!"

Rhonda Carmichael HIM Operations Manager

I had the opportunity to hear Kelly at a yearly seminar sponsored by North East Florida Health Information Management for professionals in this or related fields. Kelly had the attention of the group from the beginning and held it throughout her session. She was very real with the group and her points were applicable to those in attendance. She was refreshing and encouraging. Kelly conveyed her faith in a very concise and accurate manner as she explained how her faith kept her going and how God had directed her life. She did an excellent presentation of how our faith and our purpose in life are intertwined
