Yvonne Conte spoke at Morris Hill Baptist's "True Peace" Women's Conference. For a full year she prayed and studied and asked the Lord to give her what our women needed to hear about "Holy Ambition", our conference theme. Yvonne chose her text from the book of Isaiah for our meeting. She presented it in a clear, concise and very understandable way. In her usual fashion, she added humor that made a point of emphasizing God's Word. Our ladies thoroughly enjoyed Yvonne's words to them and have asked that she come back to speak to us in the future. Her commitment to Jesus Christ, to the Word and to leading and educating women to a closer walk with our God are why I highly recommend her to speak at church, as well as community meetings and conferences. We are so grateful to you for sharing your experience and inspirational message with us at our annual retreat that we want you back again for our retreat next year. The participants are still buzzing with good comments about you people were repeating different parts of your talk and we were all commenting on how you could be so inspirational and meaningful and still have us laughing throughout your talk! Yvonne is a rare treasure. She struck a chord with our conference attendees with her warmth, humor and honesty. She spoke three times on a Saturday and had just as much energy at 3:00 as she did at 9:00. We have already had Yvonne back a second time, and will have her again. I heard Yvonne speak at an Evening of Joy event in 2017. I had heard her several times before and loved every minute of her sharing with us - touched me deeply and caused me not only to laugh but ponder her discussion topic. It has changed my life as I recall that night even now. Her joy is contagious, her laughter is over the moon but it is her authenticity that I find most engaging.
