More About Sharon Lawlor

I was was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania and lived many different places in the United States as a Marine Corps wife.

I was a stay-at-home Mom of 3 girls until circumstances required me to work. When I left the workforce I held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for an International  Transportation Insurance Company. In addition to these responsibilities I also trained the staff of transportation companies to sell our product.

I returned to domestic life when my son finished first grade. We home-schooled from third to seventh grade. When he returned to the classroom I worked part-time as a substitute teacher. When he was a senior in high school I returned to school to finish my Bachelor of Science degree. 

Since 2005 I have completed 3 post-graduate degrees (MA Counseling; MA Bible Exposition; ThM Systematic Theology) and was Ordained through Evangelical Church Alliance in Feb. 2017.

My first book, Why Mary? From A Mother's Heart, A Fresh Perspective, should be available on Amazon (hardcover, paperback & Kindle), at Barnes & Noble, and in local bookstores the end of August 2017.

My husband, Bill, and I live in Dana Point, CA with our two Toy Fox Terriers. When not speaking or teaching I enjoy entertaining, traveling, visiting our children and grandchildren, and finding recipes for the fruit and vegetables we grow in our garden.

One of my favorite things is connecting with women of all walks of life. I look forward to meeting you and your group and sharing the light and love of Christ with you!
