Julia Nicholson’s life has been riddled with unwanted change, adversity, and loss. As a teenager, she was a passenger in a horrific high-speed, head-on automobile collision that nearly took her life, leaving her trapped in the car, unconscious, and critically injured. A few years later, fresh off a harrowing divorce from an abusive husband, she found herself a single, unemployed mother of two young children, lacking self-confidence and self-esteem with no money, marketable skills, or education past a high school diploma.
Just over a decade later, Julia had earned multiple college degrees, was the CEO of a $450 million company, and established her own independent consulting business while raising her two young children. Her career has taken her into some of the most dynamic, high-pressure boardrooms in the country.
Throughout her life, she’s been told “No” or “Not possible” more frequently than she was ever encouraged or supported. Not to be deterred, she defied conventional wisdom and overcame stereotypes and significant odds against her to identify what it takes to not only survive, but thrive after experiencing change and loss over and over again.
What happened in between these two seemingly disconnected phases of Julia’s life? How did she do it? What is God's role in her journey? She shares the answers and the life-changing power of a God-inspired 5-Facet Framework that anyone can begin using immediately.
