Lavinia Marshall is an energetic speaker, ordained minister, and certified professional corporate trainer who loves people!  She has spoken at businesses, universities, churches, non-profits, and many conferences. She has rocked the stage of with her riveting style keeping international and national audiences at the edge of their seat as they await the next golden nugget to change their lives.

Motivated by compassion, Marshall guides her audiences into a deeper understanding of self and God. She believes that far too many people are simply going through the motions of life without finding personal fulfillment or God’s will for their lives.  However, she believes with passion, vision, and faith, we can live the lives our hearts desire. Lavinia’s dynamic gift is being used to stimulate and empower others to reach their fullest potential in life as she galvanizes audiences with a powerful message proven to change lives!

Lavinia was born to be a leader. Although she grew up with the odds gravely stacked against her—born to a single-parent mother in the urban inner-city Lavinia overcame many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Determined and steadfast with a vision for life, faith in God, and a strong work ethic, she continues to achieve numerous “firsts”. She is a trailblazer who consistently overcomes any setting she encounters. God has blessed Lavinia through times of plenty and challenge which have shaped her into a seasoned and compassionate minister of the Gospel who can meet people where they live!  She continues to lead and set the pace, while encouraging and inspiring others throughout her journey.

More About Dr. Lavinia Marshall

Her Biblical basis is rooted in being a lifelong student of the Bible. Dr Lavinia Marshall holds an honorary doctorate for her lifelong commitment to philanthropy and service. She is a graduate of Emory’s Candler School of Theology where she received a Master of Theological Studies. She earned two certificates: Religious Education and Women in Theology and Ministry. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, where she was a Minority Scholar.

She is the recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the Office of the 44th President of the United States. 

Lavinia Marshall is president of Totally You where they focus on inspiring and empowering women to become all God has called them to be.  She is also the founder of Totally You 2 Next Gen to fight for the next generation and present positive role models to show them their true worth. 

Lavinia is an author who has appeared on radio and television. She is president and founder of Totally You, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, equipping, and empowering women. Also, Lavinia teaches classes on dance as a form of worship. She believes there is a sense of freedom when we can express our love toward God through movement. 

Lavinia is happily married for thirty years to David Marshall, a former NFL athlete.  They have been blessed to be the parents of two beautiful daughters.
