Kristen R. Harris subscribes to the notion that every woman is full of potential and purpose but many lack the knowledge on how to get everything out that is inside of them. Kristen helps draw it out by equipping them with the tools they need to get unstuck. As a Spiritual Midwife, Kristen helps women realize that they are pregnant with purpose and push past their pain to deliver everything that God has promised them. Under her personal brand, KRH Enterprises, she inspires a multitude of women through writing and speaking platforms. Her programs, The Birthing Plan Program and The Scribe Tribe, have been extremely successful at helping women birth their business ideas and fulfill their dreams of publishing books.
Extremely passionate about women’s spiritual advancement, Kristen founded EmpowerMoments. Through EmpowerMoments, Kristen and her team of writers shared the Gospel of Jesus to tens of thousands of women on national and international level via daily devotionals. The EmpowerMoments team realized a need to mold young girls into the women who God had called them to be so the EmpowerHour mentoring program was born. This highly successful program was held in inner city elementary schools across the Chicagoland area for 4 years. The EmpowerMoments brand has expanded and now has two published books in its anthology: EmpowerMoments for the Everyday Mom and EmpowerMoments for the Everyday Woman. Plans to add to the collection are currently underway. Kristen’s other published works include: Queens Turn Pain Into Power, Why On Earth Am I Here? and It’s Just High School and her newest project, God Put Me Up On Game.
Of all the hats that Kristen wears, she is most proud to be a wife and mother. She currently resides outside of Chicago with her wonderful husband of 13 years and three lovely daughters. Kristen’s life journey has not been easy and far from perfect, but she is reminded of this scripture each time she faces an obstacle that seems insurmountable: “God is within her, she will not fall.” (Psalm 46:5) Those words give her the courage to push forward and accomplish all of the things that God has in store for her so that she can help other women do the same.
