Hi! I'm Michelle, a licensed professional counselor, previous minister (youth, children, women and small groups), school counselor and business owner of a large counseling practice in the Dallas, TX area. I love connecting with people and have interacted with women in the counseling office, numerous conferences and retreats, and in local church ministry for over 20 years. 

My presentations are always informative and inspiring but also interactive. Whether it's a MOPS group, luncheon, conference or retreat where I speak numerous times, my goal for my audiences to have fun, be empowered by God's Word, and walk away changed by His Spirit. I also sometimes work with a committee designing something special to fit a theme or need and can go deep or keep it light for more of a misional type of event. I speak regularly to audiences of 50 and have also headlined events of over 1000.

I'm the mom of two school aged kids and have a husband Drew who I've been married to for almost 2 decades. It’s hectic traveling and juggling a counseling practice as well as direct a center with multiple locations so I also get how challenging life can be. Our family recently experienced great loss with the death of my husband's twin sister and her husband within two years to cancer leaving behind three kids so I relate well to suffering both on a personal as well as professional level. Having completed doctoral work at a seminary in Biblical Counseling and Women's Ministry, I'm also super comfortable addressing emotional and relational issues in a Biblical context. (I can also exegete a passage if you want the Word straight up).

In addition, I'm passionate about equipping parents to have Uncomfortable Conversations with their children and often speak to PTA groups and private schools as well regarding discovering peace and hope in the midst of anxiety and depression. My first book releases in September 2020 coauthored with Proverbs 31 Ministries writer and speaker Lynn Cowell titled Loved and Cherished published by Zondervan.
