More About Tabi Upton

Nurturing individuals through encouragement and inspiration, Tabi Upton is an author, speaker and on-air personality with “Mornings with Tom and Tabi” on 88.9 Moody Radio Chattanooga.

=====

Before her radio career began, Tabi was a licensed mental health counselor (LPC). She worked in community mental health, private practice, and even helped launch a counseling program in a local jail. For three and a half years she worked abroad as a Military Family Life Counselor, uplifting children and families who lived on American military bases in Europe and the Caribbean. Her perspective column, “Mind Matters,” ran in The Chattanooga Times Free Press newspaper for 12 years. Her book, Morning Candle: The Mind Matters Collection, highlights many of those articles. She currently leads a group of single Christian women called WOW: Women of Wisdom, where she encourages joy-filled living.  Tabi enjoys speaking, writing, gardening, and working in the community. She loves to laugh and to bring joy to those around her. She is energized by lively discussions, growing things, novel experiences, and traveling. Tabi received her BA in Psychology from Biola University and her MA in Professional Counseling from Colorado Christian University. She begins work on a Doctor of Ministry this fall.

Speaking topics include the following: Mental Health, Singles, Encouraging Women thru Life's Seasons, Purpose, Living Life as an Adventure, and more.

“I love to encourage others and help them transform by reminding them of how much they are loved by God and that they are created for a purpose. Come along with me…”
