Kim de Blecourt (da Blay kort) loves the Lord, her family, and the calling on her life to serve the orphaned. With a decade of ministry experience, Kim is a popular women’s speaker, author, and Bible teacher. She’s also the President/Founder of Nourished Hearts, a global ministry serving orphaned and vulnerable children in Ukraine and other international locations. Kim is a woman who is sure of her calling, relentless in her pursuit, and has endless compassion for those she is called to serve. Kim has determined not to waste the pain of her journey but to join with others in their pursuit of serving the orphaned around the world. Her personal testimony, was captured in her first book, “Until We All Come Home: A Harrowing Journey, a Mother’s Courage, a Race to Freedom.” Her award-winning Bible study, “I Call You Mine: Embracing God’s Gift of Compassion” has been translated into four other languages, so far, in addition to English, and has taken her to speak in Africa and the Far East. Kim lives in West Michigan with her husband and their children. When she’s not running her busy household, you can find Kim attending her son’s archery matches, meeting her daughter at the local bookstore for coffee , or simply trying to figure out what’s for dinner.

"When Kim de Blecourt and her husband decided to adopt a child from Ukraine, they knew that the process might be challenging. Nothing, however, could have prepared de Blecourt for the twisted nightmare she would endure. During her year-long struggle to extricate her newly adopted little boy from that post-Soviet country's corrupt social service and judicial systems, de Blecourt was intimidated, physically assaulted, and arrested. Worse, her months of loneliness, worry, and fear drove her to the brink of spiritual despair. But God had no intention of abandoning de Blecourt or her family....
