More About Chandalee Chrisman

Chandalee Chrisman is an author, speaker and podcaster who weaves Scripture through life stories, encouraging and equipping confidence in the spiritual rhythms of prayer, Bible study and discipleship.

Equipping women with tools and confidence to study Scripture, Chandalee guides them to become disciple-makers. She desires to make Bible study and spiritual rhythms accessible to all.  

Chandalee has been involved in Women’s Ministry since 2003. After many years of learning and teaching the Bible, she pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Christian Studies. During that time, her passions of Biblical history and equipping women with tools and confidence to study Scripture collided with a desire for discipleship. 

Chandalee loves the Bible, especially Old Testament history. She also loves creating and employing tools to explain hard-to-grasp Biblical truths and seeing the ‘Aha moments’ when women realize they can study Scripture on their own and don’t have to solely rely on a Sunday School teacher or pastor to open the Word! 

In addition, she’s developed a love of discipleship. Although she didn’t have a specific person that discipled her in this method, she had godly men and women who have mentored her and knew Matthew 28:19-20 was clear in our mandate to go and make disciples. Several years of questioning, “How do we do that?” led her and her husband to start women’s and men’s discipleship groups. Each week, as the Spirit illuminates Scripture in the groups, she loves seeing and hearing the things God is teaching ‘her girls.’

In the process of teaching the Bible and developing a discipleship strategy, she’s noticed so many struggling with practicing consistency of the spiritual disciplines. Through the discipleship groups, however, we see people overcoming those struggles! Since seeing these changes, she’s creating tools and workshops to cultivate the rhythms of prayer, Bible study and discipleship… for you and the women in your church too!
