Crystal Harlan is an author, speaker and domestic violence survivor/advocate whose riveting story of misinterpreting the word of God (which led to ongoing abuse), leaves women feeling understood and inspired to trust God for big transformation.

I am a mother of 4 children, two girls and two boys. I am a child of God and loves God with all of my heart and soul. My motive is to be a smile for others, a motivator to encourage others to get through the struggles. Crystal is the author of a book "Misinterpreted Signs: Secrets of Domestic Trauma." It is an autobiography about her life in dealing with misinterpreting the word of God and people in general. Misinterpreting the word led me into a domestic situation thinking that I had to go through it just to get my happily ever after.
I had to recognize that I placed myself in that situation led by my own ambitions. I am a person that acknowledges the fact that I am not perfect but strives to live the best that I can for God. I want the world to know of God's love for us and how we can easily misinterpret it by adding or overthinking what we feel the word is saying.
I am hoping to help others, my ministry is the community outside of the church.
My weakness strengthens me for God's purpose and for that I am forever grateful.
