More About Kim Aldrich

Kim Aldrich is an author, speaker and "come-alongside" mentor who delights in helping women drink in and pour out the truth and love of Jesus in relational ways.

DRINK IN. POUR OUT. REPEAT.

=====

Kim Aldrich joyfully equips women for a LIFESTYLE of making disciples!

Some speakers make you think, while others make you laugh. Kim Aldrich helps you do both—all while going deeper with God in the process! She discovered years ago that when an audience laughs together, they’re also able to learn together—so she continues to share the “LEGO building blocks” of spiritual growth in her fun-loving, down-to-earth style.

Kim teaches complex truths in simple, accessible ways that leave the listener encouraged, equipped, and excited to put into practice what they’ve learned. She is authentic and relatable, engaging the audience from the moment she hits the stage. It’s like sitting down to coffee with one of your best friends, who will also challenge you and support you as you learn and grow. A storyteller at heart, she takes the audience on a quirky, heartfelt journey through her own experiences—some ordinary, some heartbreaking, some hilarious—weaving into her stories the timeless truth and healing balm of a close relationship with Christ.

Her greatest passion is equipping women to DRINK IN and POUR OUT the truth and love of Jesus in relational ways. For her, the experience of one-on-one discipleship is like “having a front row seat to a miracle” and she never grows tired of hearing women say, “Wow, I see it now…I really CAN make disciples in my everyday life!” She loves pouring into millennials and more mature believers as well. Because once women (of all ages) experience the "relational enzyme" of God investing in them through another believer, pouring into others comes much more super-naturally!

Kim has poured her heart for discipleship into a book calleDiscipleSips: Leaving a Jesus Legacy One Latte at a Time. As a seasoned “coffee date discipler,” she shares the Scriptural and relational principles God has taught her over the past 20 years, so that first time disciplers will have those principles in their “back pocket.” The book also helps readers allow God to fill in the gaps in their own spiritual foundation, face their fears, and embrace the everyday process of “friendship discipleship.” First for themselves, and then for others...all over a simple cup of coffee!

Her passionate mission is to Scripturally and relationally equip individuals, pairs, and groups of women disciplers in every state of the U.S. over the next 10 years. And she would dearly love for YOU to be one of them.

Kim lives with her comedian husband in Spring Hill, Tennessee, where she juggles writing deadlines, meets with millennials, and enjoys cinnamon dolce lattes whenever possible. She's also an avid musician, comedian, gardener, and calligrapher...and is learning to read Hebrew in her "spare" time. And most of all, she equips women to obey The Great Commission…one life-giving coffee date at a time!

Kim is funny, motivating, and inspirational, but her integrity and genuine love for people is what put her on our short list of people we would invite back to minister.

Stacey Moore, Women's Director

I first met Kim Aldrich at the National Disciple Making Forum 2018. She spoke on the topic of Friendship Discipleship: Turning Good Conversations into God Conversations. Hearing Kim speak brought confirmation to me that sometimes we have to go first, that Jesus is always our discipler. We are called to disciple others and then there will be those who come along to invest in and disciple you. Kim brings truth and love together in a warm and welcoming environment that enables you to start to see how conversation is central to relationships, and that God has already equipped us to disciple through conversing with and being in fellowship with others. Through personally meeting Kim during this session, she and I have kept in touch, and she has been a motivation and reassurance for me in this fast-paced digital conversing world where person-to-person conversations are becoming more and more rare. Kim not only teaches on how to disciple but lives it out in her day-to-day life.

Kim is an inspiring teacher, musician, and comedian. It was evident from our first meeting that she desires for each woman she comes into contact with to find a joyful relationship with her heavenly Father.

Does the word discipleship sound a bit intimidating? What if making disciples could be relational, renewing, refreshing—and every bit as enjoyable as inviting a friend to coffee? Making disciples relationally was how the early church “did life.” Yet somehow over the years, we’ve outsourced discipleship to a class to attend or a set of rules to follow—rather than a lifestyle to embrace. A healthy blend of knowing Jesus andmaking Him known is what gives the Christian life its savory sweetness, and nothing else will satisfy our deep thirst...
