More About Jodie Randisi

Jodie Randisi has spent her career observing what it takes to connect with, motivate, and inspire human behavior. Her unique ability to blend humor with serious issues touches and enlightens audiences.

Known for her ability to cultivate the hidden potential in marginalized populations, educational consultant, author and publisher, Jodie Randisi has become an advocate for building better people while they are incarcerated. Providing inmates with educational opportunities often leads to remarkable transformation and renewed proficiencies.  While working as a prison volunteer, Jodie has found that teaching inmates how to rebuild their legacies is the most rewarding experience a Christian educator can have.

Jodie is the owner of COWCATCHER Publications, an independent publishing company specializing in fascinating true-life stories and coloring books for adults. Her presentations, just like the books she publishes, create a strong and immediate emotional response resulting in a memorable experience.

MOST POPULAR TOPICS:

Somewhere Out There is Someone Calling My Name is a specialty speech given at a TEDx Women's event held in Jodie's hometown, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. In this presentation,  Jodie shares how kindness is the art and science behind being there for those who suffer pain and loneliness. Jodie asks, "What if I had been Adam Lanza's life coach, or neighbor, or friend?" and then shows how simply showing up, you open someone's heart. When someone's heart is open, Jodie encourages us to leave behind whatever God has given us to give to others. Find out how consistent, compassionate connection while offering unconditional positive regard accelerates learning, promotes cooperation, and maximizes healthy relationships. Helping individuals design their legacy by unleashing their potential is the cornerstone to well-run classrooms, healthy families, and vibrant businesses, communities, and nations.

I'm a Broken Treasure, Can You Tape Me Back Together is about cultivating people potential behind bars As a prison volunteer, Jodie teaches weekly classes at Ridgeland Correctional Institute, a medium-security for convicted male felons. She also mentors prison Toastmasters clubs throughout South Carolina. When it comes to our judicial system, we can all agree on one thing. We all want prisoners to come out better than when they went in. Rehabilitating offenders requires educational programming. Volunteers are the bridge that closes the gap between the prison environment and the outside world. Find out how a simple class can transform an inmate's life.

Total Pardon—An Extraordinary Love Story is based on the amazing true story and book by Wil and Linda Yazzie. He was the inmate who became a pen pal and ended up the husband of a librarian's assistant from Ohio. She was a devoted Christian. He was a hopeless alcoholic whose addictions robbed him of decades of his life, yet he goes from career criminal to Hollywood actor and pastor. Wil's testimony was filmed on the Navajo reservation and featured on CBN's The 700 Club.  http://www1.cbn.com/700club/trusting-biblical-truths-over-traditions

Do The WRITE Thing Workshops are for anyone who has something to say that someone might need to hear. This presentation gives participants the tools they need to get stories and messages out of their heads and onto the paper or podium. Learn how to communicate so that others will listen, whether it's a speech, blog post, letter to the editor, or memoir. Participants will come away knowing why and how it's important to elevate your legacy. Do The Write Thing Guidebook included.

Coloring Therapy for the Soul is a fun workshop experience wherein the trend of adulting coloring is experienced and explained. Jodie is the author and publisher of the Vintage Vibes adult coloring books featuring charming vintage travel and holiday images and postcards. Discover why art is therapeutic and healing comes between quiet moments of focused creation and prayer.

I had the absolute pleasure of catching a presentation by Jodie at the recent TEDxHiltonHeadWomen. Her talk was amazing! Somewhere someone is calling my name is now a mantra of mine. It helps me get out of bed on some mornings when I don't feel like it. It helps me to realize that I have a much larger purpose than I realize at times. Her talk was compelling and relatable. Amazing presentation.

Jodi Randisi is a genuine, passionate person who has spent much of her life helping those deemed "less fortunate". She speaks to the hearts of people and may even surprise them with her story. She is a humble, yet engaging speaker capturing her audience with her stories. She is dedicated and committed to those who know and love her. Jodi's stories about working with inner city youth and prison inmates makes people want to listen to what she has to say. I believe Jodi has a message that needs to be shared with the world.
