Ministry Biography of Rochelle Sherwin

Rochelle Sherwin was born in Detroit, Michigan.  As the daughter of a Pastor, she accepted Christ as her Savior as a young woman.  While many individuals who come into the knowledge of salvation become a part of the Body of Christ, the opposite happened to Rochelle.  Rochelle’s Christian journey took a detour in another direction away from what she knew and experienced.  Disillusioned by the things she witnessed in the Body of Christ, Rochelle’s detour away from the church led her into the lives of others who needed to hear about Christ’s work at the cross.  During this time Rochelle’s ministry consisted of witnessing to the unsaved and intercession through prayer chains.

     Rochelle realized her dependence and need for Christ in her life and returned “home”, committing herself one hundred percent to His call to ministry.  Rochelle served on Prophetic Ministry teams in Metropolitan Detroit, the Concert of Prayer International Ministry and Intercessory Prayer Ministry.  Rochelle has been associated with Aglow International for more than ten years.  While attending Brightmoor Tabernacle in Southfield, Michigan, Rochelle received an invitation to attend the Farmington Aglow Lighthouse.  In 2005, Rochelle became President of Aglow International in Canton, Michigan.

     Rochelle was a gifted speaker within the Aglow International Organization and the Body of Christ.  God has called Rochelle to the 5 Fold Ministry as a Prophetess.  He has also equipped Rochelle with a deliverance and intercessors ministry.  Rochelle is a powerful teacher of the word, flowing in the prophetic gift.  Rochelle’s mandate is simple-“to build up, encourage and edify the Body of Christ in assisting the sons and daughters of God in realizing their identity and potential in Christ Jesus”.
