Patti Reed is an Author, Speaker and a Certified Coach in Conversational Intelligence®️ Her heart is to help women take steps from where they are to where God wants them to be!

Patti Pilkington Reed is first a wife to Frank and mom to Ryan and Hope. She homeschooled her children for approximately seven years with a passion and commitment to impact the spiritual, emotional, and intellectual health, and growth of her children. She is an entrepreneur and owned a Christian advertising business for 18 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Patti’s experience also includes and is not limited to leading a team of other aspiring entrepreneurs in her previous business. Her most recent venture as a new author began over four years ago when she answered God’s call to write a devotional book for parents of older teens and young adults.
Patti’s passion for parents maintaining a strong and life-giving relationship throughout the transitional years into young adulthood is a strong one. Patti received training and certification in Conversational Intelligence®️ a body of work that helps us understand what conversations open the brain for trust and what conversations close them down. She eventually became a certified C-IQ coach and has spent the last 30 years leading, serving, and building people both personally and professionally. Her compassion, creativity, and high capacity encourages others toward action and growth for their own development.
Patti’s book Face To Face: Smart Conversations with Yourself, Your Teenager, and Your Young Adult gives parents the opportunity to be intentional and courageous through conversation to discover the God-given greatness within each of their children.
In her free time, Patti loves reading, shopping, playing word games, and having lunch with friends. Her heart and love for people gives her opportunities to coach individuals through the Pastoral Care team at her home church. Patti and her husband Frank, formerly of the Frank, Starlene, and Hudson morning show (KLTY radio 94.9) reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and have been married for over 30 years. They have two beautiful adult children, Ryan, who has a career in real estate, and Hope who is pursuing her acting dreams in New York City.

Patti delivered a powerful workshop on the topic of Smart Conversations to a group of adult women who had experienced sexual exploitation in their past. Her workshop helped give insight into an individuals way of how they communicate with others and she gave tools for effective communication, that ultimately brings healing and growth.
