Tracie Morrison is an author, educator, playwright and speaker whose interactive, Bible-based, relatable programs help women draw closer and get to know God better. Come get comfortable and be encouraged, empowered, and equipped to live your most authentic life.

Tracie is an educator, the author of PRAY-ER Talk, Listen Obey Starting and Strengthening Conversations with God, and a playwright. She grew up in Clinton Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church and, during her sophomore year of college joined Abundant Life Family Worship Center (ALFWC) in New Brunswick, NJ under watch care. She served as a Youth Leader for nine years. In 2004 ALFWC produced four performances of Tracie’s first full length stage play, The Prayer Dancer at the George Street Playhouse. After earning her Master of Arts degree in Counseling in 2006 ,Tracie returned to Newark and became a member of Saint James AME Church in Newark, NJ where she initiated and authored the Prayer Calendar, wrote the 2014 and 2015 Lenten Devotional, served on the Prayer and Women’s Ministries, and was on the teaching rotation for Women’s Bible Study. Additionally, Tracie contributed to the AME First District Women In Ministry (WIM) Lenten Devotional (2022, 2023). Her newest play Preach, Preacher had a successful Professional Staged Reading by the Dunbar Repertoire Theater at Middletown Arts Center March 2022, The National Black Theatre Festival Garland Thompson, Sr. Readers’ Theater of New Works August 2022, and was selected for the Pacific Northwest Multi Cultural Readers Series & Film Festival (2023). Tracie was honored to be selected as a contributing writer for Guidepost’s Pray a Word for Hope (2023). Tracie enjoys building the capacity of others through educational and Christian workshop sessions and is grateful for the relationship she continues to develop on her journey with Christ!
