Misty Dearing is an authentic author and speaker whose life stories lead women to embrace their true identity in Christ. Come be inspired to shift your focus off the problems and onto the good, to find joy everyday, and leave uplifted and ready to change.

Misty is first and foremost a child of God! She is a mom of three grown boys which have been one of the great joys of her life. Tom is her husband and they have three fur babies. There are two people groups in particular that are close to her heart. One is the elderly which inspired her work as a home health aid. The other is women - especially those who have gone through trauma like she has. Summer of 2024 she will begin volunteering with an organization that mentors women coming home from prison. Her prayer is that she will be able to give these women hope as she mentors them and assists them with reintegrating into life. Her goal in writing her book, "Finding My Joy" was and is to be a small source of hope that no matter what you've gone through there is joy to be found and she desires to share that hope through speaking events.
