Joanna is an experienced speaker for more than 20 years, an author of several books and lead Singer/Songwriter with the Gracious Vine Band. Joanna brings messages of hope and encouragement to women at retreats, church events, coffee houses and small group settings. Her books can be found on Lulu.com, Amazon.com and BarnesandNoble.com
Her messages are passionate, intriguing, a mix of everyday life, science, scriptures with a splash of humor; as some have said, 'a Mix of the Bible Channel, History Channel, Discovery Channel, and Comedy Central all in one talk'. Each element helps the listener relate to a modern context and application of God's powerful word. Each message is crafted to fit a theme, often with talking points for break-out sessions when requested.
Joanna got saved in 1974 at the tender age of 11. Her mother's mentor poured into and challenged her to learn the scriptures, search them out and be a fully involved member of the adult Bible studies at her young age. It cultivated a passion and learning of the scriptures that continues to this day.
Years later, As a young mother, she opened her home teaching Bible studies and hosting prayer groups, always encouraging others to dig deeper, broadening their understanding of the heart of God through His word.
Joanna has worked her adult life in the non-profit field, supporting ministries and helping to develop long-range processes and growth as well as involved in leadership positions of local, national and international Christian organizations, like Concerned Women for America and International Cops for Christ. She has been a Biblical teacher for more than 25 years and a worship leader for more than 15 as well as an author and recording artist with Gracious Vine band.

Joanna's book "Come and Sit for a While" is relatable and down-to-earth, yet biblical and uplifting. I enjoyed Joanna's sense of humor as well as her vast knowledge of the Bible. Her devotions connected deep Scriptural truths to everyday life situations.

We recently had Joanna Fruhauf come to our church to lead a 1-day women's retreat. Every lady that attended was truly blessed by Joanna as she led us in worship and shared messages from the life of Simon Peter. Any group would truly enjoy her gifting as a musician and speaker.

Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon retreat. Joanna's presentation brought the message to life. Her personal stories weaved within the biblical scripture message, the worship songs and engaging break-out sessions were quite impactful, leaving us with much to ponder and reflect on. Joanna was delightful and well prepared. She handled the difficult topic of “A Biblical response to abortion,” gracefully yet powerfully. As the event coordinator I was pleased with her availability to speak with guests before and after her talk answering questions and listening to them. She also kept on schedule allowing us to continue our event on time. I will be glad to invite her again to a Keswick Girl Talk Event.

Joanna Fruhauf is a gifted woman of God who brought our Triple Header Christian Concert to another level. She speaks so eloquently from her heart and connects with her audience in a way that leaves an impact on our hearts and minds. Her band is amazing and truly was the glue of our fundraising event. I believe Joanna prepared the hearts of our audience, setting the table for me to present a financial challenge to our guests to give generously to our ministry. K-LOVE Radio has been blessed to partner with Joanna for 3 of our annual Single Moms Events in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Working with Joanna has been such a breath of fresh air every time. Her heart for the Lord shines through her personality and in everything she does. Through the events we've worked together on, Joanna has brought hope, encouragement and inspiration to women. Women have been able to see and hear Jesus through Joanna's music and spoken word and we have truly loved working with her!

Awesome woman of God, diligent and steadfast. She knows the Word and history, love listening to her wisdom and input. The members of her worship band, "Gracious Vine", are inspiring and really are gracious. They played a wonderful celebration night for our retreat, it was the icing!

We had a Woman's Life Day celebration 140 women Joanna Fruhauf and her band Gracious Vine were our guest speaker for the day .they were fantastic, filled with song, powerful messages to our women and so well received. We hope at some point in time to bring them back to Grace Church.

Joanna spoke at a Ladies luncheon and tea. She was professional, witty, knowledgeable in subject matter, and approachable. Her band, Gracious Vine, met the needs of the audience and function with the selection of music. each individual musician was experienced in their playing.

I've known Joanna for eight years but from the minute I met her, I had the feeling that we were friends forever. We have an annual women's conference every January, and we ask her and the Gracious Vine Band to help us praise the Lord and learn from his word. She has a knowledge of the bible that she translates into real life application. She is warm and genuine, has a sense of humor, but it serious about her love for the Lord. She serves him with all her heart.
