More About Amanda Lee

We all have a purpose that God has called us to, and He has provided us with gifts to fulfill this purpose.  As Adam and Eve, we have the power to choose whether or not we are going to fulfill this purpose and live up to our highest level of success in God’s eyes.  To serve Him is not easy, and not always popular, but to apply our gifts and work according to God’s purpose is always rewarding.  To be willing to do anything to God, and to do it well, is the most fundamental and influential portrayal of the Christian faith.

There was a time in my life, that I forgot to work.  I was content with skating by on my “belief in God” and chose to live my life according to my terms.  I am the daughter of a minister, growing up in the church, attending Bible studies, youth groups, and all the camps and retreats that I was expected to throughout my childhood and adolescent years.  My belief in God was along the same lines of a child believing in Santa Claus.  My belief was through the stories that heard, and what other people had told me, but nothing that I was able to experience myself.

I was the one that was too scared to do anything with the gifts that I was given.  I was greedy, and wanted to make sure that I would always have the security of a little, rather than they joy and prosperity that can come with having so much more in life.  I wanted to keep my title of “Christian” without really going out and doing anything about it, and taking any chances.  Most of all I allowed Satan to dictate my thoughts, feelings, and actions, regarding how I lived my life on this Earth.  I failed to realize that I was called to do so much more, and that God had given me a very specific set of gifts to accomplish His mission for the Kingdom.

Then, God began opening doors and calling me to a field of ministry of my own.  I was called to begin to use my own experiences and testimony to speak to women and help them understand God’s unconditional love in even their most trying circumstances.  Throughout the years, I had written a journal of my struggles and the things that I was beginning to see God heal in my life, and I have now formed this into a book.  I have been called to put my daily devotions into study guides, so that I can lead women, and pour out to them the words that God lays on my heart each day.
