Robin Sherrod is a certified Professional Financial and Career Coach whose varied training has ideally prepared her to mentor, counsel, and educate adults in such areas as personal relationships, individual empowerment, as well as career and financial planning. She is committed to helping individuals find as well as build value in every area of their lives.
Robin is also a Licensed and Ordained Evangelist. She is a dynamic teacher, preacher, workshop facilitator, mentor, and true servant of God. She is anointed, appointed, and equipped by God to fulfill the Great Commission. Throughout her years in ministry, she has proven to be a faithful and dedicated servant, gifted at serving behind the scenes as well as supervising and directing the execution of the vision of any endeavor.
This woman of God’s passion for ministry is two-fold: spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ to the lost and seeing the saints experience victorious Kingdom Living. Her life’s experiences have fueled a passion to minister to women: She is intimately acquainted with the challenges of working full-time while being a mother and still pursuing her own professional and ministerial purpose and identity.
Because she has faced the challenges of being a mother and serving in the military, she has been able to experience and understand the many demands that women experience; she also encountered numerous individuals who lacked the life skills to achieve success in various areas of their own lives. Today she not only offers hope and guidance to a full range of clients but she also focuses on empowering women in her role as the founder of Empower 2 Prosper which purpose is to motivate, stimulate and elevate women to become what God has created them to be. This is accomplished through mentoring, coaching and forums.
Robin possesses a Bachelors’ Degree in Psychology; a Masters’ Degree in Christian Ministries and currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Pastoral Community Counseling. Robin’s training accomplishments include Certified Professional Career and Life Coach, Level 3 Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP) Leader training, Accredited Financial Counselor Certification by the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education, Franklin Covey 7 Habits Facilitator and recently certified as a John Maxwell Trainer.
Robin is a native of Newport News, Virginia: However, her time in the United States Army allowed her to travel throughout the United States as well as Europe and Korea. She is now retired from the military and living on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.
