Kaenean T Warren was born and raised in Fort Worth, TX; however, she currently resides in the Los Angeles/Orange County Southern California area. She is the only daughter and oldest child of her parents, Maggie P. Carson, and stepfather, Al Phillips. Kaenean attended and graduated from Amon-Carter Riverside High School Magna Cum Laude and was selected as the Altrusa Future Women Leader representing her high school of the Ft. Worth School District. In addition, she graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a B.S. Degree in Government and Minor in Psychology Cum Laude and made the National Dean’s List in 1992. In 2013 Kaenean graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master’ Degree in Theology and Ministry; as well as began her Doctoral studies in 2014 at Regent University School of Business and Leadership.
Although Kaenean grew up in the church she did not fully understand and receive Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior until the age of 23 after much personal suffering and divine intervention of breakthrough and deliverance. Kaenean accepted the call on her life and preached her initial sermon and was licensed a minister in 2001. She has served as a Christian Education Teacher for over 23 years. In December 2007 Kaenean was divinely appointed to be the Sisters in the Spirit Women’s Ministry Director at City of Refuge and served in the position until March 2018. In the business arena, Kaenean has spent over 18 years in Business & Performance Operations Audit Management and Consulting. God has given her a call to preach the gospel, minister, serve, develop, empower, and mentor women as well as build, coach and develop Christian Leaders and Ministries
Recently, Kaenean formed and is in the process of birthing her own personal ministry “Words of Wisdom (WOW) Ministries, LLC that will be used to preach and teach the gospel; as well as teach, train, and coach “Leadership” principles for Christian leaders while providing strategic planning and organization development for churches and ministries.
