Well, hello! So glad you are checking out Sweet Selah Ministries.

I’m Sharon.

I love people and excitement and parties. Especially tea parties with a few close friends. I also love quiet and creating space to be still with God. In fact, I’ve grown to love that most of all.

Since most of us know very well without any help how to be busy, this ministry God has put on my heart is all about learning how to be still and create space to meet with God. I love sharing about this. It’s my passion and my happiness and my sweet spot for sure.

I live in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and my little “teddy bear pup” named Bella Grace. We belong to a great church and love hanging out with our home group every other Friday night.

In the summer, we bicycle a lot. We have a ton of winding, quaint back roads around here, and our bikes know them all.In the winter, we tromp in the snow and build fires in our fireplace and sip hot chocolate.

We are parents to two wonderful daughters and their dearly-loved husbands, and we are Nina and Papa to an ever-growing bunch of the sweetest grandkids ever.

Although it’s just the two of us for now, it won’t stay that way for long. We often find ourselves with long-term house guests of one sort or another. We’ve shared our home with many, many folks over the years. That’s a passion, too.

And along the way, have come life lessons.

• I’ve failed and learned that failure isn’t fatal.
• I’ve overachieved myself into basket-case status.
• I’ve stumbled to God in a mess and felt His arms hold me close.
• I’ve seen the hand of God move in miraculous ways, over and over again.

Throughout my life journey, I’ve collected quotes that have touched me and found Bible verses that have sustained me. I’ve learned truths that have shaped me. What God has shown me, I pass on with a grateful heart to you through weekly Musings and books written and in process of being written.

I also love speaking at ladies’ events and retreats. There’s always laughter. Often tears. And it’s all about taking time to know God. When we do that, we fall ever more deeply in love with Him.

I’m still on the journey of knowing Him better and loving Him more. Hope you’ll join me!
