I grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the oldest of 4 children. Life was always good. We may not have had the latest and greatest of things, but dinner was always on the table, the heat and lights were never turned off and I was always tucked into bed at night by both of my parents. Growing up in a home that took in foster children taught me now only how to cook and bake (and at times for many), but became my way of sharing, caring and giving.
Cooper Creations was born out of the desire to share my love of Jesus with women, mothers and those women that would have made exceptional mothers. I grew up in a loving Christian home, and yet, I still chose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That doesn't mean that my life has always been wonderful, or perfect. It just means that life has always had the promise of a happy ending. I want to share that through the sharing of a snack, or a meal, and a story. Whether around a kitchen table with 1 friend, or on a stage with many new friends.
Recipes That STOLL My heart is feeding hungry mouths and souls. Whether cooking for two or cooking for a crowd, we will do this through the sharing of recipes and family stories. Learning, and appreciating what it's like to serve, instead of being served. Sharing bits and pieces of why gathering around our table is so important to the Cooper family. I have been married to David Cooper since 1992, and we have 3 sons.
