Through writing and speaking, Nancy is passionate about helping caregivers navigate their role. She is humorous, serious, practical, and informative. Nancy shares how her faith sustained her during difficult times.
Caregiver’s Connection Expert, Nancy has extensive experience as a caregiver, first with her own children and foster child, and then with her aging parents. Through experience and trial and error, she learned the necessary tools to deal with the unavoidable emotional upheavals of the caregiver. Nancy has discovered numerous available resources to aid in the caregiving process and has developed the priceless caregivers checkless to aid with the collection of legal paperwork and medical records to help organize the lives of loved ones. Caregiver’s Connection Expert, Nancy is literally a walking dictionary of information for all those facing the challenges of being a caregiver, and for all those needing answers and resources.
Nancy is available to talk to Caregiver’s groups, churches, Christian education groups, seniors, non-profits, professionals, women’s groups, corporate human resources, dementia related meetings, and more.
Nancy has BA in Social Work and an MA in Health and Human Services Administration. She is a volunteer Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association. She has two books: Remarkable Caregiving, and Dancing With Lewy, both available on Amazon.com. Nancy has a monthly newsletter available for caregivers and offers additional resources on her website. She is an engaging speaker/trainer for all events relating to the Caregiver topic.
Nancy lives in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota with her husband John, where they raised two sons, and continue to contribute to their community.
