More About Annette Kam

Annette Kam is a retired RN, author, media guest and speaker whose passion is empowering women to get their affairs in order before God calls them (or a loved one) home.

=====

Annette Kam, retired RN and author of “WAIT –Don’t Die Yet!”  shares firsthand her personal caregiver story and subsequent mission to educate the public of the importance of getting our affairs in order ahead of time to avoid the 2 years of  heartwrenching challenges she went through.Realizing how it was the small mundane tasks that daily blindsided her,  her mission is to create awareness that getting the proper paperwork done is barely touching the surface of what actually needs to be done once you are in the midst of it. In 2020, after 17 years as President  of a nonprofit organization she formed to help fibromyalgia sufferers, she stepped down to focus on her new calling.She authored "WAIT - Don't Die Yet! A complete guide to all things no one really wants to think about (but everyone needs to know!) before, during, and after a loved one's passing" with the mission of educating others that getting prepared is necessary and provides the tool to easily do it. She has been featured in publications, podcasts, TV and does free presentations offering her ebook and guidebook for free.Annette lives in Waipahu, Hawaii and enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, reading her Bible, cooking gourmet meals and visiting her daughter and six grandchildren in Indianapolis.
