In 2009 LaNette spoke and sang at our monthly breakfast and again at our Annual Ladies Retreat which is held at Horn Creek Convention Center in Westcliffe, Colorado. LaNette has a wonderful testimony and is a great woman of God. She is transparent and allows the Lord to direct her every word. I strongly recommend and offer my highest recommendation for LaNette.
"It is my pleasure to submit this ""Letter of Pastoral Recommendation"" to you on behalf of LaNette Shipley. I have known LaNette since she first began attending Woodmen Valley Chapel, her home church, in 2014. She has faithfully attended and served at our church since then, and is currently an active member. She has attended various workshops and Bible Studies, including our membership class and SHAPE. She also currently leads one of our small groups. It was during the SHAPE class that she identified for us a passion for helping women with an abusive and traumatic background, and out of that passion has come a desire to engage in a leadership role within a specialized discipleship group at our church for such women. She has completed the training for this ministry, and will soon become part of that instructional team in September........

"We had LaNette Shipley as our guest speaker for our Women's Spring Tea. She was a true blessing to have walk thru our event with us! She took the time to pray for this event and everyone involved, that God would be glorified. She prepared a wonderful, inspirational presentation based on our theme and verse and included songs throughout her program that we could join in and worship. She was a wonderful blessing to be with and has a heart on fire for our Lord.
