Most wouldn't state that being born in Nebraska was an honor, but looking back, Meg realizes God placed her there to have an almost ideal childhood. One that was full of church picnics, lightning bugs, and strong women who pulled up their sleeves alongside their farmer husbands to help out. She chose Jesus as my Savior at age 8, but He became her everything at age 11 when she was in a horrific car accident with her Grandma Alice. They had spent the previous week together, Meg getting her ears pierced and Alice sharing exuberantly about her recent trip to Israel. She exclaimed to Meg one afternoon with her eyes sparkling, "Jesus is coming back soon, Meg! I can feel it!" Alice was right, but not exactly in the way she thought, because Alice met Jesus face to face after that horrific car accident that injured Meg and paralyzed the driver that caused the accident. 

Meg Elizabeth is a writer and Bible Geek married to her best friend, Michael, of 18 years. She’s also a Momma to their THREE(!) wonderfully energetic boys, Titus, Elliott, and Ezra, and their self-proclaimed princess, Alice. She loves baking fruit pies and teaching her children to cook and bake, so she’s off the hook at dinner and dessert time. She graduated from Ozark Christian College with a degree in Bible and recently graduated with her Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies with an emphasis in the Hebrew Bible at Western Seminary.

Together, God led them to plant a church in Fayetteville, Arkansas, in 2013. During the church-planting process, she began digging into God’s Word more deeply.

As she began teaching those who walked through the doors of their church and their home, she realized how much was lost in our English translations. She’s seeking to help uncover what’s behind our translations and bring an understanding of what those ancient texts say about our lives today. In the spring of 2021, she founded the Behold Collective. At the Behold Collective, they look for “Behold Moments” in Scripture and help women apply them to their own lives. They guide women to Behold their Creator, Believe in Jesus, and Become the women that God has created them to be through Bible studies, blogs, and discipleship training.
