Greetings, Chipo is a strong part of our Brookside Church community in Middletown, Virginia. As a shepherd in her life, the inward seasoning and working of the Lord is obvious within her. I have affirmed in front of our church family that while she has many qualities her baseline is reference for the Lord and that she is well equipped to speak life into the body of Christ. Her voice can accompany other shepherds and leaders to help facilitate healing, growth, and discipleship within the body of Christ. Her desire has been seen to saturate anything she is doing with the Love of God. Chipo presently leads our community wide prayer group at Brookside Church and is constantly staying alert to serve from week to week where ever needed. Her relationship with Jesus is an absolute influence at Brookside and we would not be the same to date without her influence. Co-Pastor Brookside Church 540.435.8774 John.Frost@BrooksideChurchva.com

Dr. Sha'Meca Latai' Oliver, Founder of Women Who Lead Connect

Having Chipo Mathis as an Empower Speaker at our Annual Spring Summit this year in 2023 was definitely a blessing and inspiring. Her expertise as a Life Coach in the area of Relationship and Transformation encouraged and motivated the attendees and co-speakers. I appreciate the fact that Chipo confidently presented her message and also shared her story as a childhood trauma survivor to help other women seek healing and wholeness after experiencing trauma and abuse. It was a pleasure serving and leading beside her in this capacity. Her passion aligned with our vision and mission. I look forward to having Chipo a part of our future endeavors to connect, build, and support leaders for the Glory of God.

Mrs. Lindsay Shumaker

Chipo Mathis is a woman after Gods own heart! When scripture speaks of “trusting the Lord with all thine heart and leaning not unto thine own understanding but acknowledging him and all your ways and he shall direct your paths” in Proverbs 3, Chipo hits the mark. She also exemplifies Proverbs 31:26. Chipo searches for the Lords will daily which is exemplified in the manner  she speaks, encourages and lives out the Word. She is an encourager, a prayer warrior and a studier of the Word.
Chipo uses what the Lord brings to light through prayer and study to be a light to others who are hurting. The Lord has made her life traumas a testimony of his faithfulness, mercy and grace!
If you need a speaker who is in the Word, has empathy and knows how to communicate to the most delicate of hearts she is the speaker you need.
Chipo is experienced in life coaching and trauma counseling. She uses life experiences to be an example of how life can go on for one’s betterment as one heals.
