More About Cindy Heigl

Cindy Heigl is the author of In A Heartbeat; My Miraculous Experience of Sudden Cardiac Arrest.  In 2014, at the age of twenty-eight, Cindy flatlined and was in sudden cardiac death for over four minutes. In her book she describes her near death experience as the most beautiful and comforting peace imaginable. Her testimony is full of miracles and keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. It leaves them with renewed hope and a sense of peace about death.

She says, "My heart just stopped beating. I flatlined twice. I know it sounds scary, but it wasn't. What I experienced was amazing beyond words. It’s hard to describe, because words don’t exist to convey what I felt or where I was. It was perfect. I knew I had to share the peace and hope that I experienced. I felt humbly led to put it in a book so anyone and everyone who wanted to, could find comfort through my story.”

“Life can change in a heartbeat, but here is one story that will inspire you to trust that we are not alone and that God has a bigger plan for us. Thank you, Cindy, for sharing your story and inspiring us all.”

“Thank you for sharing your story. It is comforting to hear of your unbelievable experience with death.”

“This book... It had its funny moments, just like Cindy; it was serious, it was full of love, faith, and hope.”

“I highly recommend this book to everyone, especially if you want to be reminded how gracious our God is or if you’ve lost a loved one recently. I think this can bring so much peace to your soul!”

“If you are struggling, whether it be with the death of a loved one, or with your faith, or you are just not sure there’s any real plan for your life, take the time to read this book.”

I ask, “How did God know how much I needed you to write this book?” It’s as if you wrote it for me! I am so comforted by your words, lovingly written, and rejoice that you followed God’s leading to pen your experience. Now, it’s my turn to say to you- “there are no words I can say” that can express my gratitude for you and your book.
