Juanita Sheppard, a native of New Orleans, LA, accepted the call of God on her life in 1996. In 1999, she received her ministry license at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church (New Orleans, LA). In 2011, she was ordained as an Elder at Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church (Atlanta, GA) under the pastorate of Bishop Paul S. Morton.
She currently serves as Overseer of Christian Education as well as the Chair of the College of Elders for Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church. Her commitment to service extends beyond her local church. She also serves as a member of the Christian Education Board and Coordinator of the LeaderSHIFT Institute of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International.
Juanita earned her undergraduate degree from Beulah Heights University and graduated with honors from the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center, where she earned a Master of Divinity.
Elder Sheppard credits her victorious walk in life to the ministry of Bishop Morton, the tutelage of Bishop Tommie Triplett, the grace of God and the aid of the Holy Spirit, Who is her Comforter and Confronter. Juanita’s husband, Carl Sheppard, fully supports his wife’s calling in ministry.
