Melanie Collette is a long time resident of Cape May County, New Jersey and has worked as a Business Technology Teacher and an Adjunct Professor at Rowan University for the past few years. Holding a Bachelor in Business Administration, a Master’s in Public Administration, and currently pursuing her Doctorate in Public Administration, Melanie has ensured that she is well informed on public policy standards and trends.
Melanie’s political career began in 2011 when started volunteering on campaigns in varying capacities including campaign treasurer and social media coordinator. Most recently, she served as one of New Jersey’s six Vice Chairs on the Marco Rubio campaign, and Presidential Elector for Trump 2016. November’ 2016 presidential election. In addition to being very active in her local Republican club, Melanie serves on several volunteer boards including her local zoning board and the Cape May County Advisory Board on the Status of Women. Melanie is most proud of her leadership role as First Vice President for the New Jersey Federation of Republican Women.
In addition to teaching, Melanie works in the media as a radio host and contributing writer. Her syndicated radio show MoneyTalk with Melanie with over 5 million listeners she discusses a broad range of global, domestic and financial topics. Melanie is a weekly guest host on the SiriusXM show, Patriot Tonight and contributing writer for Politichicks and The Horn News.
