Have you ever felt like a broken doll, beyond repair, thinking no one would ever want anything to do with you? Watchman Nee once wrote, “…there is just one basic dealing which can enable a man to be useful before God: brokenness.” God often allows us to go through seasons of brokenness in order to soften our hearts toward Him, toward others and to teach us new truths about Him. Through Marlene’s own brokenness, God has taught her ways to help others who are hurting to learn from their brokenness.
