Romans 12:2 says, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
As believers, we are no longer of the world – we are no longer ruled by sin, nor are we bound by the principles of the world. What does that mean?
Believers are to be set apart from the world. Meaning- being holy – living holy and righteous lives – to be set apart. We no longer engage/take part in sinful activities that the world promotes, nor are we to corrupt our mind with what the world promotes. We are to become “Christ” like …. This is a daily commitment.
Together, we will learn how to accomplish being “in” the world, not “of “ the world? We will learn how to STAND FIRM on our beliefs?
