Doesn’t it seem like life just keeps getting more complicated, more bogged down by what if? What if I made a different choice? What if I had listened to my friend’s advice? What if I were more skilled? What if I had the money to do what I wanted? What if I went back to school? What if we stopped asking, “What if,” and started saying, “Only if, I listen to God, only if, I follow God, only if, I seek His purpose, then I will be anointed to move forward, confident in who God created me to be.” God has so many promises in the Bible, but oftentimes it is attached to, if you do this, then the great I AM will do as He promised. God wants to be the only one directing your steps, but if only you listen closely to His voice and if only you obey His instruction. The only I AM you should be worried about is the Great I AM, but too often we are concerned with, I am working to get to a certain place, and I am soul searching for something more. But the Great I AM has the ability to replace your doubt about who you are with His promises. It will take time to replace your doubt with His certainty of who He created you to be. Don’t spend another day wondering if you are doing what you are meant to do. Be certain that only if you follow closely to Jesus, He will fulfill your desires. He knows what He is doing and
