I became a Christian twenty nine years ago at the age of thirty nine. I remember telling God that I was NEVER going to tell anyone that I had abortions! After all Christians are pro-life and would hate me! Little did I know that He would bring up that pain and shame, bring me into a post abortive Bible study, heal me completely and let me know the names of my children that He is taking care of till we are all together one day! Christian, Joshua, Melanie and April are my children spending their time with Jesus! They are not angry with me, have no questions of why I did what I did, have no tears and can't wait to meet their Mom!!!
I know that if there are over 60 million babies aborted that we know of, many of their Moms and Dads are sitting in our churches each week. I have good news for them!!! When I speak to women I bring with me a picture frame with six places for pictures. The Lord told me to buy it and put the pictures of my living children Kerri and Joey in two of the slots and in gold pen write the names of my six children above each space. At the top of the frame is written in gold "My Six Children"
My children are now in ministry with me!!! I let men and women know that Jesus died for the sin of abortion, he loves them and has forgiven them when He was on the Cross. Now it is time to forgive yourself! I have forgiven myself through Jesus, left my guilt at the foot of the Cross and I live in freedom with NO shame! What a gift He has given me!
