Everyone will go through trials in their life but it is how you go through them that makes the difference in how long you stay. God loves us so much, He ensured eternity with Him in heaven through Jesus Christ and His death and resurrection on the cross.
If He loves us that much, then we can be assured that if we are going through something, it is for a purpose.
David was anointed as king to take Saul's place, then came the preparation for the position. He went through years of being chased by Saul due to his jealousy. Along the way, David had to pass several tests. He passed every one of them. To lead the Israelites, he had to prove integrity, perseverance, devotion to God, and humility. He passed them all.
Then the time finally came for him to take the throne and God ordered the steps through Hiram, king of Tyre to build a palace for him. In that, David knew God had established him as king.
The trials and all he went through were a setup to prepare him and when he was ready, God provided all that was needed to establish him. He will do the same for all of us. Will we endure through to victory?
