Families on Mission

Can toddlers serve God? How about teenagers? Why would we make the effort, given that just getting them to church is like training for Ironman? Serving with our children, at any age, isn’t just about doing good. It’s about creating little disciples who will love God and others naturally, daily. It's also about transforming our family life into a purposeful whole, not a disjointed hurry between activities.

Jill outlines reasons, benefits, and practical, simple how-to’s for making serving with kids a priority. She give easy steps for leading our children (or perhaps letting them lead us) into generosity and mission that will become lifelong habit. She also helps parents tailor plans to individual kids and their own family dynamic because, let's be real, no two kids or families are the same. But we can all discover the same joy in learning heart-filled generosity.

Jill brings her experience raising three girls, writing about family mission trips (Don't Forget to Pack the Kids: Short-Term Missions for Your Whole Family) and leading church groups in service to this talk. It is suitable for parent groups, church, and retreats. She can modify the material for groups that are not faith-based.

Jill is available to make this presentation/conversation online.
