EPIC Seminar: A Transformational Weekend

God, through the power of his Holy Spirit, wants to change your life by giving you freedom from the things that hold you back from living full out for him.  Like Paul, “my purpose is that you may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that you may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that you may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:2, 3)

This weekend retreat is designed to create breakthrough thinking about what it means to live as a Christian and experience the fruit of the Spirit on a daily basis. Romans 12:2 tells us to Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. During this weekend you will take a fresh look at the things that keep you from living victoriously. Why don't you have joy, or peace, or patience? What stops you from fully experiencing the fruit of the Spirit? Together, we will examine the power of obstacles and past failures to open up future possibilities. Participants will explore the things that get in the way of powerful living and will learn how to generate new commitments that transform lives into reflections of Christ in daily action. If you feel like you are just going through the motions or are stuck in the same old patterns, this seminar will be life-changing!

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self…to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness—Ephesians 4:22-24). Before you can have a new attitude, you have to understand your current thinking, discover the truth of God's word, and decide to step out of your comfort zone to experience all that God plans for your life.

This retreat will help you discover the answers to these questions:

What am I really committed to?

What is there in my life that keeps me from doing what I know is what I should be doing?

How can I overcome past failures?

What’s in my future?

Why do I feel so trapped?

How can I just be who God wants me to be? And what is that, anyway?
