Dare to Dream: A Trio of Monologues

Do you dare to dream? In this trio of monologues about Peter's mother-in-law, Noah's wife and Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist, you will be inspired to go for your own God-given dreams.

=====

Do you have a God sized dream inside of you? Be inspired as Laurie brings to life characters from the Bible who share their God sized dreams. Noah's wife dreams of a land pure and clean. She discovers that dreams take hard work. "Dare to dream fellow dreamers, for you serve a God who keeps his promise."

And Peter's mother-in-law shares in humorous fashion how Jesus breaks the nets of her self-serving ways just like Jesus' overflow of fish threatened to break the disciples' nets. "Have any nets that need filling...and breaking?"

And Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist, struggles with why she had to wait so long for her dream of having a child come true. She ends by claiming the promise she had spoken to Mary, the mother of Jesus, "Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished."

Speaking as a formerly discouraged writer, Laurie ends that monologue with "I DO believe my dream is from You. And when my dream comes true, in whatever form God wishes, it will be in God's power, and God's timing and just like the baby in Elizabeth's womb, it will be pointing straight to Jesus."
