The Starting Nine Core Qualities are indispensable in cultivating an intentional Christian life, making connections, building a community, and encouraging one another, all while loving others.
In this talk, Billie shares three of the 9 Core Qualities and how we can learn to use them in our connections:
Selflessness: seeing others' needs as more important than our wants.
Inclusion: going above and beyond to build relationships with people we may never choose.
Support: helping others along the way with God’s Word and prayer.
Peacemaker: using God’s love to create loving relationships even when chaos reigns.
Encourager: helping stimulate confidence and hope by putting courage in another person’s spirit.
Compassion: showing sympathy toward another’s distress while wanting to alleviate their pain.
Respect: caring enough about another person to consider how our actions impact them.
Trustworthiness: pouring out dependable, reliable, and honest character.
Generosity: giving more affection and tenderness than is necessary.
