Kathy Foor is an author, speaker, Bible study and praise team leader, plus the Women's Ministry Director of her denomination's general conference. She helps women experience more of God in their everyday lives.

Kathy was born the fifth of nine children and a twin. She accepted Christ during an evangelistic service at a neighborhood church when she was thirteen years old, but didn't really grow in her faith until her freshman year of college when she got involved with an InterVarsity Christian Fellowship group on campus. It was then that Kathy gave her life to Christ and learned how to study the Word and lead others in worship and discipleship.
Loving Jesus with all her heart, Kathy is passionate about sharing His love wherever she goes. As a young mother, Kathy struggled with depression to the point of despair. A friend suggested she get on her face and ask God what to do, so she did! It was then that Kathy learned how to seek God and listen to His voice. God delivered her from depression, fears of many kinds, anxiety, negative thinking, low self-esteem and taught her how to take every thought captive unto Christ, living to please Him moment by moment of every day.
She believes God wants so much more for His children than most of us are experiencing, and considers it her calling to share her testimony of transformation wherever she goes. Though Kathy spent her career as a Christian school teacher, she believes God is calling her in this next season of her life to speak His Word into the lives of others. Kathy has taught Bible Studies and Sunday school classes to all ages for more than 30 years. She has been encouraging others with her devotional writing for the past 10 years and has published three books that testify to the work of Christ in her life and encourage others in their faith walk. She has encouraged others at retreats, church services, guest speaking at chapels and other women's events.
Kathy lives with her husband in a small town in the mountains of Western Pennsylvania, and serves in her church as the choir and praise team director. She loves waterfalls and sunsets and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren!
