Brittany Simmons is a passionate leader, speaker, and coach. She is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel, the Mom of Peter and Luke, wife to Jack, and a deeply committed Christian active in her local church and community. She graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point in 2002 and spent a diverse Army career as a military police officer leading troops in Germany, Iraq, Texas, Washington, Kentucky, and Indiana. She experienced significant combat in her Iraq tours, led specialized law enforcement teams at the Army’s largest installation, served as the chief operations officer for units ranging in size from 500 – 3000 soldiers and civilians, taught undergraduate American politics as an assistant professor at West Point, managed world-wide casualty support for soldiers and their families, contributed to strategic Army enterprise talent management and leader education solutions, and led Army recruiting efforts across the states of Indiana and Illinois through the COVID-19 pandemic.
She is the founder of Simmons Solutions, where she is focused on serving, supporting, and developing Christian women leaders of character as they seek to serve in whatever capacity God has called them. She also serves as a regional partner and operations officer for Arrowhead Leadership Consulting where she helps train and develop relationally and emotionally intelligent leaders in companies and organizations of all types across the USA.
Brittany earned a Bachelor of Science in American Politics from the US Military Academy, and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. She is certified by the Master Teacher Program at West Point, The Maxwell Leadership Team, Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching, and Alli Worthington's The Coach School. She is also certified in DiSC and the EQi 2.0/360 Assessment. Among some of her military commendations, she has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal (2 awards), the Meritorious Service Medal (5 awards), the Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, the Combat Action Badge, the Basic Parachutist Badge, and the Recruiter Badge.
