Hello, and welcome to my information page. I try to offer a wide variety of encouraging keynotes, workshops, and retreats. Each one is designed to make you laugh and to lift your spirits with the joy of the Lord, but laughter is only the beginning. We will go deeper with God and learn about his greatness and his special love and provision for each of us. He wants you to soar! And so do I.
I will work hard to make your event a total success. I'd love to help you plan and brainstorm for success. If you need ice breakers, small group ideas, decorating ideas, help with scheduling, marketing, or even budgets, let's talk. I would love to come to your area and sip a cuppa with you as we share our love for Christ and for women.

Karen Porter is an international retreat and seminar speaker and a successful businesswoman. She is the author of eight books including

Business/Professional
Karen served as Vice President of International Marketing of a major food company in Texas for more than 30 years. She traveled around the world and her varied experiences (including dinners with Fidel Castro) contribute to the richness and depth of her writing and speaking.
Karen and her husband, George, own Bold Vision Books, a Christian publishing company.
Trainer/Mentoring Ministry
Karen serves on the board of First Place 4 Health, one of the nation’s top health and nutrition programs and she is president of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association.
Personal
Karen says her marriage to George is her greatest achievement, but she’d love to talk to you about her five grandchildren! In her spare time, Karen continues her life-long quest to find the perfect purse.
Karen is a people person, plain and simple and you will love to laugh with her and maybe even cry a little as she shares her joys and struggles.

My heart and faith was strengthen by Karen Porter when she shared "There is no giant, no lie, no adversary that the Name of the Lord cannot overcome". From a very familiar story comes a new and profound perspective on the fact that God fights for us. No bullies allowed any longer in my life! Karen's wit, transparency and obvious knowledge of the Word of God makes her one of my favorite writers and speakers of all time.
