I often say, "I can live without many things, but I cannot live without grace!" 

The women in your ministry crave grace. Actually, they crave grace upon grace--God's grace!

One of my favorite verses is John 1:16 in the Amplified version: 

"For out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] 
we have all received grace upon grace 
[spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor,
 and gift heaped upon gift]." 

Years ago God brought a ministry partner into my life. Her name is Gwynn and she is one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. Not only is she personally beautiful, but she makes everything around her beautiful. She adds "flair" and makes the most simple items seem extravagant.

One time, after receiving a gift from Gwynn, I gave her a thank you gift (for the gift). She responded by giving me another gift, even better. 

I decided I wasn't going to let her out give me. So, without telling her, I just kept giving her bigger gifts each time she gave me another one.

At some point, I gave up! I just couldn't out give her.

I told her, "Gwynn, you're like Jesus to me, because I can also never out give the Lord." 

When I read John 1:16, about grace and favor and gifts and blessings, I think of Gwynn, and I think of God. 

As we extend God's grace to the women in our ministries, they, too, will experience God's extravagance and grow in grace themselves.
