Janice Burton is a passionate, anointed daughter of God chosen to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ as a speaker, event emcee, relationship expert & coach and author of “Do I?” Questions To Answer Before You Say “I Do”, a marriage planning resource to equip singles and engaged couples to prepare for the marriage journey. Janice is affectionately known as “The Marriage Planning Mogul.” Her passion for marriage planning stems from God impressing upon her to leverage 23 years of marriage experience to help young singles avoid the pitfalls she fell into by saying “I Do” at 22 years old without consulting God or having a plan. The sanctity and sacredness of marriage that was not her focus as a young, naive lady is now at the helm of her ministry and business as a relationship coach, incorporating prayer, scripture, strategy, visioning, tools, resources, and practical life applications. Janice attributes her spiritual foundation to her late Mother, Minister Lela Mae Johnson, a strong woman of God who preached the gospel of Jesus Christ unapologetically and with power and fervor.
Janice has faithfully served in ministry as a Certified Lay Speaker, Praise and Worship Leader, Bible Study Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Chair of Evangelism, Chair of Finance, Church Treasurer, Choir Member, Choir Treasurer, and Youth Director. She has received honors as a Contributing Writer for eBible encouraging and advising global eBible followers on biblical matters.
Janice is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance. She is the Founder and CEO of Janice J. Burton Enterprises LLC, is an accountant, business & finance professional currently serving as Director of Philanthropy for a nonprofit organization. She enjoys influencing philanthropy and public relations for individual, corporate, and community partnerships to empower organizations and communities with sustainable funding.
Janice is a native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, currently resides in Austin, Texas, youngest of 7 siblings, and Mother of an amazing Son, Michael Jr. Janice’s podcast, Marriage Planning Mogul Podcast, is on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. She hosts “Truth Tuesday” on the Morning JOY Show on Fifth Sun TV and is a member of the Women of Movement Speaking Network. Janice has a jovial spirit and enjoys writing, speaking, singing, and spending time with family and friends.
