Barbara Anne Fillion began singing in her hometown church in Brookfield CT. In 2014 she and her husband moved to Virginia to be closer to family. She is a music artist advocate for Compassion International.
Barbara's latest CD, Where Angels Fly, was released in August 2009. It contains the theme song she wrote for Compassion International, "Let The Children Come". The album features uptempo, hand-clappin' songs as well as moving ballads all communicating the gospel message. Her lyrics are spirited and compassionate and clearly resonate her love for Jesus.
Barbara Anne sings and shares testimony of the beautiful gospel message and how the Lord has given her strength to endure hardships in her life, at woman's events, concerts, nursing homes and church services. She has a heart for young mothers, the elderly and underprivileged children.
High On That Mountain, Barbara's first Christian release is an eclectic blend of Gospel music, capturing Southern, and Country traditions, with a trace of Celtic influence. From earthy and energetic to contemplative and melodic, this album features rich, compassionate vocals and a heart of acousticism.
She resides in Bumpass VA with her husband Philippe of 46 years and they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren ranging in ages of 18 months to 19 years.
