More About Sharon Arrindell

Author, speaker and counselor/coach Dr. Sharon Arrindell, inspires audiences to pick up the pieces of their lives and become whole through the power of God's "Redemption Song."

Redemption Song was made famous by the late Bob Marley in 1980, however, some of the lyrics speak volumes about how this woman has evolved over the past 20 plus years to becoming Dr. Sharon Arrindell (AKA Dr. Sharon). Though seemingly quiet and unassuming, place writing instruments in her hands, or put her in front of an audience and she will tell you her Redemption Song. A native of Jamaica West Indies, she relocated to the United States in September 1970 with her parents. She attended Grace Gospel Chapel in Harlem New York for 17 years and became a member of Bethel Gospel Assembly also in Harlem in 1987. This is where a life of ministry truly began for Dr. Sharon, as she sought to follow the inscription written on the outside wall of that church, “ENTER TO LEARN GO FORTH TO SERVE.”

After many years in the fashion business, Dr. Sharon pursued a career in counseling. She spent four years in the public school system in New York, working with autistic children; and eleven years in Florida’s public schools as a school counselor. She also spent many years in NY as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader, and Bible college teacher. She was also a youth pastor in Port St. Lucie Florida for four years. Dr. Sharon has been featured in Women of Distinction Magazine, Success Women's Magazine, 100 Fearless Women International Magazine, Shout out Miami Magazine, New York Weekly, and Victorious by Design Magazine.

She currently has a Christian counseling/coaching practice called Wholeness Counseling Service and her services are offered virtual and face to face. She is the founder of Inspired Wholeness Ministries, where she is allotted the opportunity to speak at women’s retreats and conferences, inspiring women who have been broken, to pick up the pieces of their lives and become whole. Dr. Sharon started a virtual 10-week experience for women 21 and over called "The Birthing Room", in October 2020 to help many cope during the COVID pandemic. She also teaches Bible study courses on a virtual platform. She is a member of Global Women Speakers and a national and international speaker and preacher. She has spoken and preached in the US, Caribbean, France, Spain, Pakistan and more.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management, a Master of Science Degree in Counseling from Mercy College, graduating Suma Cum Laude, a Doctorate in Biblical Counseling/Biblical Studies from the Master’s International University of Divinity, graduating with honors, and a doctorate in Education Leadership (Ed. D.), from North Central University. Dr. Sharon is the author of several published books: Her #1 bestseller Armored and Victorious: Memoirs of a Crossover Season, Weapons for Victory, Christian Divorce Wars, 31 Days of Wholeness, Newbies in the Kingdom, Embracing Our Queenly Anointing, The Shepherd’s Call: Revised Leadership Study Guide, and collaborated on an anthology: The Fiercely Unstoppable Entrepreneur, an international #1 bestseller. She is a licensed pastoral counselor and an ordained pastor. Dr. Sharon has been an adjunct professor for seventeen plus years, and currently teaches online at Indian River State College in Florida, and Montreat Christian College in North Carolina teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. She also taught at Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida for six years. She is nurtured and covered under the umbrella of FIRM (Federation of Independent Revolutionary Ministries), under the leadership of Apostle Samuel Beasley out of Pensacola, Fl.

Her desire is to help bring lasting change for people at large, and women, especially; steering them toward the realization that God can bring you out of any situation no matter how difficult it may seem (Psalm 34:19). She is married to her friend Keith Arrindell and they are on the pastoral leadership team at All Nations Life Development Christian Center in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where she is an associate pastor. Combined they have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. Visit her at www.drsharonarrindell.com or www.inspiredwholenesscounseling.com

Dr. Sharon Smith has a lot of teaching under her belt. As a former Sunday School student, she made Christian living an interesting goal to foster. I recall her teaching on prayer and other important topics needed to steer adolescents down a righteous path. Now with a doctorate, I have had the pleasure of working with her to develop her company. She is not overcome by her experiences, but she has overcome them. She diligently seeks the Lord through prayer and consistent Bible study. I had the pleasure of serving her at a women's retreat and many women left feeling restored by her testimony alone. She does not look like what she has been through. Her love for youth and passion to proclaim and speak the word of God to bring healing, restoration, love and purpose to youth, women, men and families. She is full of love, honesty and the word of God. Dr. Sharon is a prayer warrior who knows the word of God and has the heart to transform people for God's glory through love and with grace.

I have known Dr. Sharon Smith as an excellent person, speaker and most of all as a woman of God who lives out her Christianity in the truth of God’s Word. Our friendship for approximately 2 and a half years became more meaningful when I had the privilege of attending some of her speaking engagements events. She is an excellent speaker, and just a wonderful Christian woman.

Through her ministry, Dr. Sharon has walked me through unresolved childhood trauma. After being released from pain that was holding me back, I’ve been able to walk in confidence of God’s unfailing love for me. I’m able to love myself better and love those around me. Equipped with biblical teaching, she empowers & encourages those she meets to build a firm foundation in Christ & understand what God’s purpose is for each of us.

The Shepherd's Call Study Guide

The Bible declares: “For many are called (invited, summoned), but few are chosen.”The Shepherd’s Call is a powerful equipping study guide to be utilized primarily in helping train future pastors and leaders to walk in their shepherd calling. The writer, by utilizing the studies of others and the pure unadulterated Word of God, compiles this study to help churches train ministers and pastors that will strengthen the body of Christ.  The study is exhausted with information about how to become a shepherd after God’s heart. It is divided into 18 weeks to help guide...

Embracing Our Queenly Anointing

Embracing Our Queenly Anointing was birthed out of the author’s recognition that the good, bad and sometimes ugly experiences of the daughter’s of the King, all serve to crown us Queens in the kingdom.  The backdrop is the book of Esther, where God used an orphan maiden to rescue a nation from genocide. Though the journey is sometimes laboriously painful, the desire is that God’s Queens will take courage and be resolute in fearlessly facing their giants in the royal court. The hope is that all of God’s daughters will utilize whatever they’ve been allotted...

Newbies in the Kingdom

Newbies in the Kingdom is a daily devotional for new Christians, who are serious about studying scriptures and in need of a unique way to learn. The author’s intention is for those who read to eventually become scholars of God’s Word. It is meant to be read in 365 days, eventually teaching the readers how to navigate through the Bible on their own. The devotional is divided into two parts: daily short scripture studies from January to June and the study of major Old Testament characters from July to December. Each character study should be accomplished over a period of half a...

31 Days of Wholeness

31 Days of Wholeness is an inspirational daily devotional, dedicated to women who are seeking to be completely whole in their journey with the Lord. Scriptures are used along with the testimonies of some amazing women to enlighten the daughters of the King, to embrace the legacy of their royal lineage and live in peace, regardless of their circumstances. Though the devotional is for 31 days, it is the hope that it will be read repeatedly, utilized in women’s Bible studies and used for workshop studies at conferences and retreats. Read, enjoy and be blessed. ...

Weapons for Victory

Paul in Ephesians 6:10-18 gives a vivid description of the warfare armor provided to the believer. In Weapons for Victory,  the author gives a vibrant description of how, by employing this arsenal she was equipped to gain access to Satan’s camp, retrieve her stuff that was stolen, and walk away in victory. The book takes the reader into the world of the writer as she uses the tools of God’s Word to prepare for deployment, face it head on, and emerge a winner every time. The reader is given a panoramic view of a storm, which though at times grew boisterous, was the avenue God...

Christian Divorce Wars

There is a war going on in the Christian realm, and conservative churches across the nation choose to ignore and avoid; hoping the turmoil will subside if we just pretend it does not exist. Christian Divorce Wars is a book written from the heart of a woman, once ripped apart by the ravishing of a divorce war that left her and her children trapped in a dug out of despair. Although not a biographical portrait, the book gives the reader a glimpse of the hurt and desperation of the wounded soldiers caught in this often overlooked war, which rages within the walls of the sophisticated church. The...
