Twylia Reid is a native of Columbus, Mississippi who currently resides in Savannah, Georgia. She studied and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Trident University International while continuing to work as a Human Resource Manager in the United States Army where she is a 20-year retiree.

Grateful for the support she’s received, and passionate about her role as a Traumatic Brain Injury advocate and caregiver, she wrote and published her signature books, “Broken Wings”, “What Do You Do…When Caregivers Need Care Given”, “From Tragedy to Working Strategies: Turning Your Traumatic Events Into Empowering Moments”, and the anthology “Confessions of a Caregiver” as resources for those operating in the role as a caregiver to those with chronic or lifelong illnesses. Educating, empowering, and enlightening others she shares wisdom gleaned from the years of personal and professional care-giving experience for maintaining your physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being while caring for others. Inspiring and motivating others is what she lives for. Teaching them how to turn their tragedy into working strategies to get results in spite of life challenges is her calling. Her mantra is “Aspiring to Inspire Others”!
