There are lots of ways for people to describe me... "Meghan is in her early 40s", or "she's single" or "Meghan is the CEO of a mid-size corporation", "she is helping her former foster daughter battle addiction issues", or "she's been doing urban ministry for over 10 years". The truth of the matter is that none of those things truly define me.
My journey through the chaos of corporate ladder climbing, urban ministry, and overnight motherhood has been a roller coaster of a ride over the last 12 years, but the biggest lessons I have learned all come back to defining who I am, and seeing my value, through what God says about me and not what those other labels say. I love being able to share that story with other women, especially in business and workshop settings, to help get back to the core of who we are called to be and how we can thrive in that.
